As one of the leading sources for financial news, investor data and tools, Bloomberg is the global standard for business information. Our Forlenza Finance Lab allows students to access the information, through our Bloomberg Terminals, that the financial world depends on and train for their future career paths.

What are Bloomberg Terminals?

Launched in 1981, Bloomberg Terminal brought transparency to financial markets. It connected market participants to a groundbreaking data, analytics and information-delivery service.

Why It's Important for Student Use

If a student is preparing for a career in business or the financial marketplace, knowing and understanding how the market works is an integral part of their education. In the Forlenza Finance Lab, students will gain a better understanding of the financial markets, learn about the awareness, context, and analysis needed to understand this resource, and develop the tools to be successful after graduation.

In addition to the wealth of global market information available to students through the lab, all Busch School students have free access to the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification course. Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) is a self-paced e-learning course that provides an interactive introduction to the financial markets. BMC simultaneously demonstrates the complex interconnectedness of the global economy while teaching students the real-world skills needed to succeed in the fast-paced world of finance. Moreover, completion of a BMC certificate gives Busch School students a competitive edge when job-seeking at top financial firms.
