On March 2nd from 1:00-1:30 PM, join Luke Burgis, Director of Programs at the Ciocca Center for Principled Entrepreneurship, as he explains the relevance of his new book, Wanting: The Power of Mimetic Desire in Everyday Life, to Catholics. He will explain why mimetic desire—first articulated by the Catholic philosopher René Girard—is one of the most important concepts for any business leader in the twenty-first century to understand.
This session will be co-hosted by Andreas Widmer, author of The Pope and the CEO, and Director of The Ciocca Center. Together, Andreas and Luke will host a 30-minute webinar on March 2, 2021 at 1 pm that will conclude with a special invitation to participate in a Speaker Series at the Catholic University of America.
