Two books by Busch School faculty, A Catechism for Business: Tough Ethical Questions and Insights from Catholic Teaching (3rd edition) by Dr. Andew Abela and Dr. Joseph Capizzi and Wanting: The Power of Mimetic Desire in Everyday Life by Luke Burgis, made the Notre Dame Deloitte Center for Ethical Leadership List of "The Best Books for Ethical Leaders 2021." The purpose of the book selection is to choose works of literature that "bridge the worlds of business and academia and provide practical insights that can help leaders live and work more ethically."

A Catechism for Business: Tough Ethical Questions and Insights from Catholic Teaching (3rd edition) by Dr. Andew Abela, current and founding dean of the Busch School of Business, and Dr. Joseph Capizzi, Ordinary Professor of Moral Theology/Ethics in the School of Theology, presents the teachings of the Catholic Church as they relate to more than one hundred specific and challenging moral questions that have been asked by business leaders.
