What is the mission of the club you lead?

We strive to create a positive and professional community in the CUA Accounting Department.

How does this club add to the Busch School experience?

We create a space for people to explore what accounting has to offer within the Busch School and professionally.

What is your previous leadership experience?

I was the President of The Student Organization of Latinos (SOL) for two years.

Why did you decide to take a leadership role in this club?

For my leadership in the Accounting Society, I wanted to connect with accounting firms in the DMV area and explore what opportunities they offered. I also wanted to help students with their journey in the Accounting Department. 

For SOL, I wanted to celebrate and educate others about my culture and connect people with similar backgrounds. 

What is your favorite part about being a leader?

I find that my favorite aspect of leadership lies in the opportunity to genuinely connect with others. Building relationships and fostering a sense of community within the team are among my favorite aspects.
