Whether you are seeking immediate skill development or pursuing graduate-level formation, the Church Management Program Pathway offers flexible options to meet you where you are. Select the right combination that fits your ministry needs.
Transformational Leadership and Practical Skills for Parish and Ministry Teams
The Church Management Program Pathway prepares pastors, religious, and lay leaders to act with clarity, competence, and faith in service of the Church’s mission. Choose from multiple options, each designed to meet leaders where they are — whether through targeted executive education courses, a graduate certificate, or the full master’s degree in Ecclesial Administration.
Pathway Options
Those interested in this pathway can pursue their own combination of: Executive Education courses, the MS in Ecclesial Administration and Management, and one of our Church Management certificates.
Sample Courses Include:
Digital Ascetism: Mastering the Mind for Leadership
Social media has a real impact on the brain. Integrating the spiritual tradition of the Catholic Church and the virtue theory of St. Thomas Aquinas with developments in positive psychology and neuroscience, this executive education course demonstrates how to effectively use social media and develop the habits of self-control needed to virtuously utilize new technologies, including social media.
Financial Fluency for Pastors
You don’t need an MBA to lead a financially healthy parish, but you do need to know exactly what the numbers are telling you. For many pastors, looking at a Statement of Activities or a Balance Sheet feels like reading a foreign language. This course is your "Rosetta Stone."
Strategic Stewardship: Time Management for Parish Leaders
Spend less time on administration, more time on the salvific mission. Stop managing crises and start managing your mission. Learn the priestly frameworks for delegation, calendar discipline, and boundary-setting designed specifically for the unique rhythm of parish life.
MS in Ecclesial Administration and Management
The Master of Science in Ecclesial Administration and Management at the Busch School of Business is a distinctive graduate program designed to form leaders who can effectively serve the Church through excellent administration, faithful stewardship, and mission-driven leadership.
Church Management Certificates
Church Administration (Certificate)
The Graduate Certificate in Church Administration equips pastors and administrators with the practical skills needed to manage the operational life of parishes, schools, and dioceses.
Church Leadership (Certificate)
The Graduate Certificate in Church Leadership forms seminarians and emerging leaders to guide Catholic organizations with clarity, virtue, and a deep sense of mission.
