Upon successful completion of 6 credits of approved MBA courses, each alumnus can attain an MBA. Alumni interested in earning a specialization certificate in addition to their MBA must complete all 12 approved certificate credits, but this is not required for the standard degree pathway.

The MBA degree pathway is only available for graduates of the Master of Science in Business or Master of Science in Business Analysis Programs at the Catholic University of America. Please note that this does constitute the completion of two separate graduate degrees.

How to Enroll: To sign up for MSB(A) to MBA pathway classes, all alumni must complete an application to the MBA program through the standard application portal. In the specialization section of the application select "MSB(A) to MBA Pathway." Admission decisions should be available within a few business days of applying. After admission, a $300 deposit (not an extra fee) will allow you to enroll in courses through Cardinal Students.

Courses: Completing both Generative AI & Digital Transformation and Management Communications will allow our MSB(A) alumni to obtain their MBA degree in as little as one semester. New asynchronous online courses are anticipated to be released in the upcoming semesters.

Those interested in completing a specialization certificate must meet the certificate requirements. You can check out the current certificate offerings on the degree page

Tuition & Fees: MBA courses currently cost $1,385 per credit.

In addition, Catholic University has mandatory fees that cannot be waived. These fees are charged per semester, so completing the 6 credits needed for degree conversion in one semester will reduce your total costs.
