The Patrick and Christa Narus Sales Lab serves as the home of experiential sales education within the Busch School of Business. The Lab functions as a training ground where students engage in sales conversations, practice interviews, conduct mock meetings, participate in internal competitions, and interact directly with employer partners.

Training the Future Generations of Sales Students in the Busch School

Launching in 2026, the Narus Sales Lab is designed to serve as the home of experiential sales education within the Busch School of Business. The Lab space combines modern technology, collaborative workspaces, interview rooms, and role-play environments to create a professional setting where students can develop and refine critical business skills in a corporate simulation.

More than a classroom, the Sales Lab functions as a training ground where students engage in sales conversations, practice interviews, conduct mock meetings, participate in internal competitions, and interact directly with employer partners. By mirroring the environments students will encounter in their future careers, the Lab helps bridge the gap between academic learning and professional success.

Creating Student Impact Each Academic Year

The Narus Sales Lab serves as a cornerstone of the Sales Program curriculum, helping to level up students' sales experience each academic year. 

  • Sophomores utilize the space to develop professional skills, explore career opportunities, and build confidence through career development experiences. 
  • Juniors participate in hands-on sales practicums, role plays, and industry training designed to strengthen communication and business development skills. 
  • For seniors, the Lab provides an environment to master advanced sales concepts, client presentations, negotiation strategies, and account management techniques.

Through competitions, employer engagement, mentorship opportunities, and real-world simulations, students will graduate with practical experience that differentiates them from their peers and prepares them to contribute immediately in professional roles.
