Your Advisor "To-Do" List
- You will need to have meeting availability for March 23 - April 24. Your goal is 45 hours over those 5 weeks. Communicate times to Academic Services by March 6 using this form.
- In Cardinal Success, make sure you sync your Google Calendar.
- On March 19, Academic Services will launch your campaign with a link for your student advisees (excluding graduating seniors) to sign up for appointments. The campaign dates are March 23 - April 24.

Meeting Checklist
Before:
- Remind the student to come prepared. The Course Planning & Registration page has all the information students need to build their course schedule.
- Review students' Academic Planning Worksheet (they were sent to you by Academic Services) for key info like: Math and foreign language placement, specializations, credits completed and missing requirements.
During:
- Record notes in Appointment Report in Cardinal Success.
- Advising Meeting Checklist
- Review expected graduation term and which degree requirements are unfulfilled.
- Compare that to how many credits remain to reach 120.
- Scan the free elective to see if any transfer credits can fulfill a liberal arts requirement.
- Does student need Career Discernment exemptions?
- Review: Foreign language placement status.
- Review: Math placement status.
- Review Specialization status.
- Review registration appointment date (by credits).
After:
- Save Appointment Report in Cardinal Success, including key info:
- Selected courses
- Key info on student to remember
- Action items like: forms to submit, offices to contact
- If necessary, refer student to campus resources
- Submit alerts

Degree Progress
- Students should verify that enrolled courses fulfill degree requirements. To help answer questions, you can track their degree progress with their Academic Planning Worksheet.
- Comparing their courses taken to degree and specialization requirements, liberal arts requirements, etc. can all be done by filling out an Academic Planning Worksheet.
- Students will need to consult the corresponding department for advising on non-business minors.
- Students should verify that enrolled courses fulfill degree requirements. To help answer questions, you can track their degree progress with their Academic Planning Worksheet.

Cardinal Success and Set Up Instructions
- Go to Cardinal Success. Google Chrome is the recommended browser. Errors on other browsers can be reduced by disabling cookies and/or clearing your cache.
- Complete the following basic tasks:
- Calendar Sync
- Set up your Availability
- Set up your Appointment Campaign
