As a top Division III athletic institution, Catholic University attracts student-athletes who value the opportunity to compete in a sport they love. In the Busch School of Business, more than one-third of all students participate in Division III athletics.
Catholic University sponsors 25 varsity programs (13 women, 12 men) and is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in Division III. The Cardinals compete in the Landmark Conference with the exception of football which is an associate member of the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) and men’s and women’s rowing which are members of the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC).
In addition to intercollegiate athletics, the Office of Campus Activities offers an array of intramural and recreational club sports.
