Isabella Chesla, CatholicU '26, is a Finance student from Laurel Springs, NJ. She accepted a job at Boeing and will be joining the Estimating team. 

Briefly describe your new job opportunity.

"After my finance internship with Boeing last summer, I accepted a full-time role and will be joining the Estimating team in Ridley Park, PA! This site is where the Chinook and the V-22 Osprey military helicopters are built, and it's a super cool experience to be able to walk across the street and see the full process, or even look out the window and catch a test flight!"

How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?

"I believe the education I received from Catholic University has set me up for a lot of success in my career. From supportive professors to real-world situations presented in class, I was able to strengthen my analytical skills and critical thinking skills. The various networking events also allowed me to gain more confidence in putting myself out there to build meaningful connections!"

What activities were you involved in during undergrad?

"I was a part of the Women in Finance Club, the Business Women's Council, and the Italian Club."

What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?

"One of my favorite things the Busch School does is CUA on Wall Street. Having the opportunity to take a day trip to New York and visit various firms as well as the New York Stock Exchange is something I really enjoyed and appreciated!"

What advice do you have for students during their job search? 

"Always utilize your network! Never be afraid to reach out to someone, especially if their job or company interests you. Most people are happy to share advice and insights to help guide you in the right direction. Building and maintaining relationships is one of the best things you can do for your career. You never know when those connections might open doors and provide opportunities you didn't expect!"
