Professor Njai joined the faculty of CUA in August 2009 and teaches financial, managerial, and cost accounting. She received her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting, from the Catholic University of East Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. In addition, she completed a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Capetown, South Africa, and a Master of Science in Accounting at Strayer University in Northern Virginia.
Professor Njai spent over six years with the global accounting firm of Ernst & Young on various audit, accounting, and project management assignments in Kenya and Rwanda in various sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, education and not for profit organizations. Prior to becoming faculty at CUA she worked for the Catholic Relief Services in the USA, Nigeria and Afghanistan.
