Designed for Young Professionals
The Online MBA combines intuitive online learning, passionate faculty, and access to on-campus resources to prepare each student for life-long success. With courses available during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters, this 36-credit degree can be completed in as little as one year or as many as five years, depending on your individual needs. Rooted in Catholic teaching, this program equips students with management expertise, practical business skills, and an ethical foundation to use business as a force for good.
A Flexible Path with a Global Finish
Students can begin the Online MBA program in the fall, spring, or summer semester—whichever works best for their schedule. The program is designed with flexibility in mind; it can be completed in as little as one year, although course availability may impact the timing. Students have up to five years to finish the degree and may take semesters off by using a simple approval process.
There are two in-person requirements:
- During mid-August of the first year of study, Online MBA students will be required to attend a four-day on-campus orientation to meet professors and classmates, to learn about the mission of the Busch School, and to acclimate to the learning style of the MBA program.
- In their final spring semester, Online MBA students will reunite for our international capstone course, a week-long summary experience in a foreign country.

Online vs. In-Person MBA
The Online MBA is built for working professionals, offering maximum flexibility without sacrificing academic rigor. Unlike the in-person program, all coursework is completed online, with just two in-person components: a week-long orientation in mid-August and a capstone experience abroad during the final semester.
Students have full control over their course load and pace, taking as many credits per semester as they wish (up to 18 without special permission), with courses available year-round in the fall, spring, and summer. The degree must be completed within five academic years, but students can pause their studies by making a simple official request.
