Stephanie Ibe is a Business Management student from Baltimore, MD. She shares why she chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice she has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I chose Catholic because when I was younger, my family and I would always go to the Basilica for church pilgrimages or just to visit and I never knew that there was a school here until the summer going into my senior year or high school. I think it was a sign from God that I was meant to be here. Plus, I wanted a change of scenery and DC is a great city to be in; there’s never a dull moment!"
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"My favorite part has definitely been the friends I’ve made over the past 3 1/2 years. They definitely helped me a lot get through the ups and downs of just college life in general. I’ve enjoyed all of the different teams and clubs I’ve been a part of."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"I know the thought of being on your own at a new school with people you might not know can be really scary, but once you find your footing and the friends you will make, I promise you it will all work out. Also, ask your professors for help if you are struggling, I promise you, your professors are there to help you and they want to help you."
