Owen Moynihan is a Marketing, Sales, and Sports Management student from North Kingstown, RI. He shares why he chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice he has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I chose Catholic University because I wanted to be in a great city like DC. I think the Busch School is unique because it allows you to be in small classes and get to know the faculty. At Catholic University, they look at you like an actual human who wants to know who you are and your dreams. At big universities, it can be hard to get to know the people in your class and even harder to get to know your instructors."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"The community on campus is second to none. Everybody gets to know everybody but it's big enough that you don't have to see the same people every single day. It's a really special place where everyone finds their friend groups and everyone is friends with everyone."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"Don't be afraid to ask questions and follow your heart. Whatever feels like the right decision most likely will be."
