Erin Huber is a Marketing and International Business student from Flanders, NJ. She shares why she chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice she has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I chose to attend the Catholic University and the Busch School because of the faith-based business curriculum that inspires future business leaders to do good in addition to doing well. I also wanted to study in the beautiful and historical city of Washington D.C., but still have a green campus. Catholic University was the perfect combination, being the largest green space in DC and just a few metro stops from downtown DC!"
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"My favorite parts about being a student at Catholic University are the amazing community of students and professors and the opportunities I've gotten to take advantage of. Everyone here truly cares about each others' wellbeing, growth, and success, which is why CUA is such a welcoming place. Additionally, I've had an abundance of experiences that I wouldn't have had if I had gone to school elsewhere. For example: interning for the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery or going to El Salvador on a Business Service-Immersion Trip."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"When looking at schools, find one that feels like a home away from home - and choose a location you want to explore more! During your time at school, be curious and explore all your interests!"
