Briefly describe your new job opportunity.
"I will be working as a tax associate specializing in private client services beginning in October 2024. I will be on a team that serves ultra high net worth individuals, preparing their individual, partnership, trust, and gift tax returns."
How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?
"The accounting classes that I took at CUA (especially Taxation with Professor Monahan) fueled my passion for accounting. The professors have been very supportive and assisted me in finding job and internship opportunities."
What activities were you involved in during undergrad?
"SGA Treasury Board, Accounting Society, Chapel Jazz Ensemble"
What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?
"Serving as a TA for the Accounting 205 and 206 classes. I really enjoyed being able to help younger students grasp the fundamentals of accounting."
What advice do you have for students during their job search?
"It's never too early to start looking! There are plenty of smaller firms looking for motivated students, even if they only have a small amount or no experience"
