Lauren White '24 is an Accounting student pursuing her certificate in Intelligence Studies from Howard County, MD. She shares why she chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice she has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I wanted to attend a business school that was in the heart of one of most influential cities in the country. I knew that the Busch School of Business had the necessary resources to help me accomplish my goals."
Why do you want to be in the business world?
"I felt drawn to business for some odd reason. But, right now I really enjoy learning about all the different topics in business and I like how it connects to different majors."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"The alumni network has been awesome. I feel like every alumni of Catholic really wants to see their fellow Cardinals succeed, so they are willing to help in any way."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"Make the most out of everything. Every networking opportunity, every lecture, every homework assignment can impact you positively if you have the right mindset."
