He is a shareholder at Ogletree Deakins, a premier labor and employment law firm in the U.S. and internationally, working out of the Indianapolis and Chicago offices. He offers strategic legal advice and advocates vigorously for clients, particularly in restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and unfair competition cases. John chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property subgroup, leveraging his experience in trademark and copyright issues. A South Bend native, he has a robust background, including serving as Editor-in-Chief of law review, clerking for a federal judge, and working with the U.S. Senate Finance Committee and as a newspaper reporter.
