Since 1979, Leadership Institute has trained conservatives on how to advance their principles through the public policy process. LI continued that tradition with this career development training -- Navigating the DC Landscape -- designed to help DC conservatives advance their careers. LI partnered with a great group of DC professionals, including Professor Jack Yoest of the Busch School of Business, to help teach these valuable skills.
Students and professionals participated in interactive lectures, resume consultations, and networking at the event. The Navigating the DC Landscape training can be a springboard for students' political and professional success. After this one-day workshop, students leave with a curated reading list and a deeper understanding of the skills critical to success in DC and a stronger network of like-minded conservatives.
