Tanya Sichling, Catholic U '25, is a Sales and Marketing student from Brentwood, Tennesee. She accepted an internship as a Sales Intern at Shamrock Trading Corporation.

How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this internship?

"The Busch School and Catholic University helped shape my career path by combining practical business skills with a strong ethical foundation. Catholic is one of the few universities with a dedicated sales specialization, and that unique focus, combined with real-world training, prepared me to succeed in a competitive, relationship-driven field."

What activities were you involved in during undergrad?

"Women’s Volleyball, Dean Student Advisory Council (DSAC), Busch School Ambassador & Mentor, Sales Program Ambassador."

What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?

"Some of the best parts of my time at Catholic so far have been balancing life as a student-athlete on the volleyball team while being involved in several campus activities. I was part of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, a Busch School Mentor & Ambassador, and a Sales Program Ambassador, all of which helped me grow as a leader and connect with others. I also had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Rome, which broadened my perspective and enriched my college experience. The smaller class sizes made a big difference too. Professors really take the time to get to know you personally, which made it easier to ask for advice and build relationships. One thing I love about Catholic is that everyone genuinely wants to help each other succeed. The sales program network is also fantastic, with strong connections that have helped me build relationships and open doors in many different industries to see where I will thrive the best."
