During Alumni Weekend, the Busch School of Business announced the Narus Family Sales Lab and a $50,000 matching gift from Patrick, B.A. 2016, and Christa Narus, a contribution that will advance the future of the Sales Program.
Patrick Narus was a member of Professor Mark Weber’s first-ever sales class at the Busch School. Looking back, he describes the experience as life-changing: “Being a grateful recipient of that education and experience has been truly transformational in my personal and professional life.”
Patrick shared how Professor Mark Weber—“a friend, a mentor, and like a second father figure”—taught far more than sales tactics. “He taught us… professional selling skills, business acumen, but also really personal skills, like how to blend faith with business, how to do ethical professional selling, how to really find value in bringing material needs to your customers into the marketplace.”
Inspired by that formation, Patrick and Christa decided to give back. Through the Narus Match, the family will match every donation made to the Sales Program dollar for dollar, up to $50,000, helping future students access the same transformative education.
