Katie Zaremba is a Marketing student from Galena, OH. Katie shares why she chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice she has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I have been familiar with Catholic University for a very long time. When I began the college search, I had a laundry list of things I wanted the University I attended to have. Some of these things were: a volleyball team (I play for the Cardinals), a strong Catholic identity, located in a big city, and lots of major options. I didn't know what I wanted to study, but I knew I wanted to help people. My dad convinced me I would be great at business, so I took his word for it and ended up in the Busch school. In MGT 118, I realized that business school was the place for me, because after all, all businesses are trying the answer the most basic question of: how may I help you?"
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"I love Catholic for so many reasons and some are: playing volleyball for the cardinals, being in the big city, the awesome opportunities I have been given and, of course, the amazing people I have met."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"Apply everywhere that interests you! Do not be afraid of rejection, everything will work out the way it is supposed to! Catholic is by far the best decision of my life, so consider applying... we would love to have you join our university!"
