Owen Moynihan is a Sports Management and Marketing student from North Kingstown, RI. Owen shares why he chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice he has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I chose Catholic University because I was obsessed with the idea of going to a school that has a campus but is within minutes of the city. I love how the Busch School operates and how every single professor is not only extremely nice but very successful in their lives outside of teaching."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"My favorite part of being a student at Catholic University has to be the community that everyone is surrounded in. Wherever you are on campus, you always know someone and the school treats you like a human and not just a statistic or a number at a large university. Playing basketball is one of my favorite things at the school and the teammates that I've met are my best friends."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"The advice that I would give to prospective students would be don't be afraid to reach out and contact anyone at the school. The services that are provided to help you become the student you envision yourself to be is super helpful. The school is in a safe area and I love exploring everything that the city has to offer."
