Accelerate Your Future
Juniors and seniors of all academic majors at the Catholic University are invited to pursue the 4+1 MBA pathway. The 4+1 pathway will allow students to take graduate-level courses during their undergraduate studies, reducing the cost of standard tuition and the course load for the MBA by up to 33%.
Beginning in fall 2025, undergraduate students can enroll in up to 12 total credit hours of approved MBA courses throughout their junior or senior years; then, during the fall semester of their senior year, 4+1 students are invited to apply to the MBA program. MBA courses, rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and virtue theory, are designed to rigorously prepare students to thrive in a competitive marketplace.
The MBA is comprised of 24 credits of core curriculum and 12 credits of a specialization certificate. In fall 2025, only the Strategic Management, Data Analytics, and Church Administration specialization certificates will be offered for the MBA, but a variety of certificates are anticipated to be offered in future years. Only credits from core courses and one specialization certificate will transfer to the MBA. Blended credits from different specialization certificates will not transfer to the MBA program.
Busch School undergraduates may be able to satisfy undergraduate degree requirements by completing certain 4+1 MBA courses. See the Curriculum page for more details.
