Leading up to National College Decision Day on May 1st, we asked our Busch School students why they chose to attend The Catholic University of America. Katie Zaremba, Catholic '23, is a Busch School student from Galena, OH. Katie is a Marketing student. She shares her story and her advice below:
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"There are many reasons I decided to attend Catholic University and the Busch School. A couple reasons were: The beautiful campus, including the lovely building we get to call home, Maloney Hall. The proximity to downtown Washington DC. Finally, the family history Catholic holds."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"In addition to playing volleyball for the Cardinals, I love all the wonderful friends I have made here. I have friends from all over the country that add so much to my life. I can't imagine life without them!"
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"Go to the school that you think is the best fit for you. It is okay if you are the only one from your high school that attends a certain university! Visit as many schools as you can! But the most important advice I could give to any senior in high school or any person in general is to live where your feet are. Do not wish away high school or any season of your life because once it is over you are gonna wish you had just five more minutes."
