Dr. Catherine Pakaluk joined the Busch School for our Lent Lecture series. Dr. Pakaluk gave her lecture on the importance of “Almsgiving”, one of the three pillars of the Lenten season. She focused on what the misconceptions of Almsgiving are, why we are supposed to give, and how we can give. Dr. Pakaluk said every person should strive to give of themselves this Lenten season.
Students and professors had a chance to reflect on that during dinner, catered by Mission BBQ. Our next Lenten Lecture is “Fasting,” by Dr. Jay Richards.
