To kick off of our Lent Lecture series, Professor Mark Weber spoke with students about what the meaning and impact of the Lenten season. Weber started out his lecture by comparing Lent and sales, highlighting the value of persistence in both. Weber interacted with the students in the audience by asking them what they gave up for Lent, along with what Lent traditions students have, while sharing his own as well.
After the lecture, students were served Buca di Beppo and enjoyed getting to hang out with their professors and peers. The Busch School will be hosting another Lent Lecture on “Almsgiving” in the Della Ratta Auditorium on March 23rd. Stay for dinner afterwards!
