The Master of Science in Business program was thrilled to host Professor Andreas Widmer for the 1st Leadership as Service event of the year. Twice a month, the program invites a business, government, or entrepreneurship leader to come and talk with the class in an informal setting, all while enjoying a meal together. Students affectionately refered to the events as "Thirsty Thursdays."

Professor Widmer shared his life story, including stories about his time in the world of business. He also highlighted his friend, Art Ciocca, and the entrepreneurial mindset he maintained while launching his company. Widmer finished the event by discussing the meaning of a person's "ergon," and how each person was called to use their gifts and talents not just in business, but to serve others and God.
