Brooke Smith is a Finance student from Morrisville, NC. She shares why she chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice she has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I chose to attend CUA because I committed for golf. I chose to commit for golf because when I visited campus for the first time, it felt like home. Specifically, the Busch Ambassadors were very welcoming and since that visit, I told myself that I wanted to be like them and make others feel like CUA is their home."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"I've really enjoyed the diversity of people I've met. Having different people in my classes gives me chances to reach out and make connections with new people. I also enjoy being able to be part of so many different clubs."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"Go out and make friends. Don't spend all of your time studying or in your room - reach out to clubs, join others in fun events around campus, etc. Get out there and be yourself, create a social circle you enjoy spending time with."
