Frankie Mansaray is a Business Management student from Washington, D.C. She shares why she chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice she has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I chose Catholic University because it was close to family, and I wanted to expose myself to different cultures on campus. I was anxious about what to expect since I came from public schooling. It was a wonderful surprise to meet goal-oriented and driven change-makers among my peers, and learn from amazing professors and faculty members.
Catholic University has a wonderful culture focused on virtue, service, and community. I hold these values highly in particular, because they relate most to me!"
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"My favorite part of attending a Catholic University is being able to seek out support academically and personally from fellow students and the faculty on campus. I feel supported on campus in my journey to pursue higher education. I am motivated to give back to the Catholic University community as well, to ensure the next people in my foot steps also have greater experiences than my own."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"Take the opportunities that appear in your view! Catholic University is an ever-expanding institution of endless learning and career opportunities. Remember, if your dreams do not scare you, then you aren't dreaming big enough!"
