Josh Phillips '27 is a Business Management and Politics double major student from Glenmoore, PA. He shares why he chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice he has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I chose Catholic and the Busch school for the incredible opportunities that both offered me. The ability to grow in my faith in a virtuous business school while still having the opportunities that a city like DC offers me was huge factor in my decision."
Why do you want to be in the business world?
"To me, the business world offers the best diversity in terms of career fields and jobs. Every career and corporation uses business in one way or another, thus by majoring in business I allow myself to be open to all different possibilities post-graduation."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"My favorite part of being a CUA student has been my fellow students. Coming from high school, I thought I had seen it all, but in just the first few months, I have met some of the best and most trustworthy friends I have ever had. Together, we grow as individuals in both our academics, athletics and most importantly faith."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"My advice to prospective students is to never let an opportunity slip away. From making new connections with upperclassmen, to befriending a professor, to a simple trip to the city, every chance you get you need to use it to your advantage. Your life is short, make every minute moment count."
