Natalie Zentz '25 is an Operations Management and Human Resources student from Pittsburgh, PA. She shares why she chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice she has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I chose to attend Catholic and the Busch School because I love how faith is incorporated into the curriculum. It is so important to gain a good education while also learning how to become a moral and virtuous individual. Also, I love how the professors are not purely academic individuals, but have real-world business experiences in many different industries. This allows them to apply their individual stories to the curriculum."
Why do you want to be in the business world?
"I want to be in the business world because I believe it is important to incorporate and promote Catholic Social Teaching in business and good business practices. In a human resources career, I hope to foster a positive work environment that supports and advocates the employees."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"My favorite part of being a student at Catholic is being involved in different clubs and activities. I am president of the Business Women's Council and a member of the Dean's Student Advisory Council, so it is amazing to have a leadership role on campus. I love organizing new events for students and advocating for student's needs."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"My advice for prospective students is to take the time to explore the many different majors and opportunities Catholic has. Also, to reach out to current students to truly learn why Catholic is so special in the curriculum, faith aspects, and many different opportunities in DC."
