What is the mission of the club you lead?
My mission is to ensure that the students and faculty have a proper mode of communication with one another to guarantee the Busch school is running optimally, specifically catering to the needs of our students.
How does this club add to the Busch School experience?
This club gives a lifeline to both faculty and students when experiencing issues, generating new student involvement ideas, and anything else that might be thought of. When a student or faculty member has an issue, we hope to act as executors of the help that they need!
What is your previous leadership experience?
In high school, I was the leader of the Brass section for four years, and then Drum Major of my band senior year. I also founded the first Maryland chapter of United Sound, which is a club that works with students with special needs to learn music and a musical instrument. In addition to this, I was also the 20026 class secretary. Additionally, I was the team captain of the performance horse training team that I was on in High School.
Why did you decide to take a leadership role in this club?
This Council is intrinsic to the success of the Busch School and I am incredibly passionate about the Busch School. I want to do everything in my power to help the Busch school, so I knew taking an active role in the club would allow me to do that.
What is your favorite part about being a leader?
My favorite part about being a leader is being someone that people are comfortable to come to for help and with ideas. I love helping other people and being able to employ my problem-solving skills in real time for others is the best!
