James McAuley '26 is a Sales and Marketing student from Duxbury, MA. He shares why he chose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School, and what advice he has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I chose Catholic because of the opportunity to live in one of the most important cities in the world that is filled with opportunities. On top of that Catholic offers a wide variety of classes and is filled with great people from the professors, staff and student body."
Why do you want to be in the business world?
"I want to be in the business world because of the diverse opportunities it provides. Having a business degree can truly apply to anything. My Dad is also a businessman and as a kid I always found his career in sales to be exciting and spontaneous."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"My favorite part of being a Catholic University student is the people. The professors are always there for you whenever you need extra help and the staff and student body is full of extremely supportive and caring people."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"Consider what school is going to care of you and provide you with opportunities. A big school might sound enticing but the personalized experience offered at a school like Catholic cannot be matched."
