Briefly describe your new opportunity.

"The opportunity I have at Fidelity Investments is one I'm super grateful for. I'm going to be a Financial Representative for the Park Avenue Investor Center Branch in New York City for Fidelity Investments. I'm going to be helping customers by processing transactions, answering questions, placing trades, and making deposits. I'm also going to be supporting the rest of the operations team overall."

How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?

"CUA helped me put me on this career path through the other students I talked to and the professors. Originally, I was unsure what major I wanted to be but after getting great advice from the CUA community and taking different classes, I decided on Finance and Accounting."

What activities were you involved in during your undergrad?

"During undergrad, I played for the Catholic University Men's Rugby Team. Apart from activities organized by Catholic University, I got really into running and throughout my 4 years, I ran 3 marathons and 1 ultramarathon."

What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?

"The highlights I have of Catholic University have got to be the times I spent with my friends and with the rugby team. For the 2022 and 2023 seasons, the men's rugby team went to the National Collegiate Rugby championships and got 4th place for the Men's Small College division 2 years in a row. Playing in those matches, spending time with my teammates, and doing various other activities with my close friends have been some of the best moments of college."

What advice do you have for students during their job search?

"The advice I have for students during their job search is to network as much as possible. I got the opportunity to get a full-time offer right out of college by having a connection, and I'm very lucky for it. If you can get an "in" by knowing someone at a company, you should take it - the job market is very competitive and any advantage you can get makes you better off."
