Busch School Church Management graduate secures $150 million donation
Very Rev. Chris Stanish began the MEAM program in the spring of 2023 and will graduate this summer. While a student in our fundraising course, Fr. Stanish's own Diocese of Gary, where he serves as Vicar General, received a $150 million grant for education.
“Having learned of a historic gift being committed to our diocese shortly before the course began provided me with a strong filter and influence for how I viewed the course content. I found the emphasis placed on relationship building in the Fundraising and Project Management course to be spot-on and a key principle for ecclesial leadership. Regardless of the size of the project, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with all parties involved is essential to building productive partnerships that lead to successful outcomes.”
This generous investment, the largest ever in PreK-12 Catholic education, will focus on strengthening Catholic schools in the diocese of Gary. Read the full article here.

The program’s goal is for its graduates to imitate the Master who “came not to be served but to serve” (Mt 20:28) and thereby steward the treasure and talent of God’s creation. The degree consists of 30 credit hours that can be completed in one calendar year or paced across several semesters. Learn more about our MEAM Program.
