Andrew Stinson is an MSB student from Hershey, Pennsylvania. He studied Politics on a Pre-Law track during his undergraduate years at the Catholic University of America and earned a certificate of intelligence studies. Now, he has returned to earn his Master's of Science in Business.
What inspired you to pursue a Master of Science in Business?
"I wanted to combine my liberal arts background with a degree in business, so that I will have the skills necessary to succeed in the private or government sector."
What excites you the most about starting this program?
"Getting to know my classmates well, building my network, and gaining experience in the classroom and internships."
What career goals are you hoping this program will help you achieve?
"Through the career training and networking opportunities, I am hoping that this program will allow me to begin a career in government or the private sector."
If you went to Catholic University, what were some highlights of your time?
"As a graduate of CUA, my favorite thing about Catholic was/is that I was able to practice my faith through the numerous mass opportunities on campus, as well as gain a full college experience. Also being in the nation's capital there are numerous opportunities to meet new people and build my network."
What advice do you have for students who are just graduating college?
"Don't get discouraged if it feels like you are not hearing back from jobs, grad schools, etc. just keep applying, and gaining experiences, and meeting new people. Things will work out."
