Owen Moynihan is a Senior Marketing and Sales student from North Kingstown, Rhode Island. He shares why he chose Catholic University and the Busch School and the advice he has for prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?
"I wanted to go to an outstanding business school in the heart of the Nation's Capital. Catholic has allowed me to learn how to be a virtuous business leader, and on top of that, given the location and resources that the school provides giving me multiple internships, setting me apart from my other cohort."
Why do you want to be part of the business world?
"I know that the business school gives you the financial freedom to do good in the world. There is a lot of bad business in the world and there is a huge opportunity to do good."
What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?
"The community is second to none. I have the opportunity to go to class every day with a professor who knows my name and cares about what my goals and aspirations are. You are not just a number in a class but instead a person who can connect with the professors."
What advice would you give to prospective students?
"Find out what you want to do and if you have no idea there is no better place than D.C. for the opportunities that present itself. These four years fly by so take advantage of everything around you wherever you can."
