Mia Ventura is a first year Busch School student from Washington, DC. She started a business in her first semester: MiaBellaV.

Describe the journey that led you to creating your business.
"During ENT 118, I was able to discover how I can use a personal strength and hobby to inspire and help others. Throughout the class we do a lot of brainstorming on our personal strengths and weaknesses to help develop a business that is right for us. This is how I chose to do a fashion/beauty business!"
What is most challenging about running your own business?
"The most challenging part is keeping up with deadlines for brands while also juggling school/work."What do you love most about running your own business?
"I love getting to share my passion for fashion and beauty with others all around the world! I enjoy seeing people take the recommendations I give and incorporate it into their own style."
What advice do you have for students who are interested in starting their own businesses?
"My advice to anyone starting their own social media business is to stay consistent even when you feel unmotivated because it is so worth it!"
