Daniel Vincent is a Sophomore International Business and Operations Management student from Austin, TX. He shares why he chose Catholic University and the Busch School and the advice he has for prospective students.

Why did you choose to attend Catholic University and the Busch School?

"I choose to attend Catholic University because I wanted to be in a city like Washington D.C and its prime opportunities for my future. I believe that Catholic University gives me the best chance to set myself up in the future with its vast opportunities, helpful faculty, and prime location. The Busch School of Business allows me the opportunity to learn the art of business through a human lens by learning wisdom through virtue."

Why do you want to be part of the business world?

"Being a part of the business world affords me to opportunity to contribute to society in meaningful ways. I have a passion for helping others and I want to be able to work in areas such as International Development, and promoting sustainable measures for other societies."

What's been your favorite part of being a student at Catholic University?

"My favorite part of being a student at Catholic University have been the friends I have made during my time here. I have been able to meet some of the best people of my life, and the tight knit community that we all have with each other is something that I have come to grow very fond of."

What advice would you give to prospective students?

"I would tell prospective students don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and try something that you would think that you would never enjoy. By going to clubs and events that challenged my beliefs, or events that I agreed to go on a whim I have been able to find something positive out of it. I would also tell students to always remain optimistic."
