When did you develop a passion for your sport?
"I developed a passion for my sport as far back as I can remember. My mom played Division 1 basketball at Loyola Marymount in LA, so she wanted to me to start playing as soon as I could even pick up a basketball."
Why was it important to you to play that sport in college?
"It was important to play in college for me because I felt as if I still needed and wanted to play four more years of the sport I love. I was not ready to give it up after high school."
What has your experience been like as a student-athlete in the Busch School?
"My experience in the Busch-School has been great so far! I love how there are always activities and events going on to get everyone involved in something. I have been able to meet so many people in my major and connect with them through being an athlete and meeting other students on other teams."
What has your experience been like on your athletic team?
"My experience on my athletic team has been amazing, and I could not ask for anything better. Not only have I met my best friends through being on the team, but I have made countless memories already with them in just one year that will last a lifetime. It is so great to be around a group of girls everyday that all have such a deep passion and love for the sport and want to work everyday to be better in and out of school."
Have you been able to take advantage of other opportunities off the field?
"I have been able to take advantage of other opportunities off the field. I am a part of many extra curriculars, such as the Philanthropy Council, SAAC, the Athletics Ambassador Program, and more. These have all been great ways for me to keep myself busy and work to help others at the same time. I am also working at the athletic center itself, which has been so much fun to be able to see my fellow athletes win games and bring the Cardinal spirit to life!"
What advice do you have for prospective students looking to play a sport?
"For prospective students looking to play a sport, the advice I would give them would be just have fun with the whole process of finding a school. Everything will work out in the end, and they should enjoy the exciting process of recruitment!"
