What is it like living in the nation's capital?

"Living in the nation's capital is an amazing experience with so much life and diversity surrounding it. The city is so alive, in that there is always something going on with so much to experience!"

What is your favorite thing to do in Washington, D.C.?

"Besides walking around the monuments, my favorite thing to do in Washington D.C. is to explore the more quiet neighborhoods around the city! There are so many that are not your typical tourist hot spots with so many delicious restaurants!"

What's something that surprised you about Washington?

"Something that surprised me about Washington was how little you have to spend in order to have a fun time in the city. There are so many free museums, the monuments, and many more outdoor spaces to visit."

Is it easy to explore the city?

"I love how easy it is to explore the city! With tons of restaurants, monuments, and neighborhoods, there is so much to do and a visit to the city never gets boring. Whether its a quick ride on the metro, or an easy bike ride, getting to the city is easy and worth while!"

What advice do you have for prospective students about living in D.C.?

"Take advantage of the opportunity to live in such a historic and lively city with so many opportunities right at your disposal."
