Jack McCarthy, CatholicU '22, is an Accounting major from Cape May, NJ. Below, Jack shares his experiences in the Busch School and at Catholic University:

Why did you choose to attend the Catholic University and the Busch School of Business?

"I chose to attend the Catholic University of America for the campus that has access to a great city. I chose the Busch School of Business due to the phenomenal faculty that have real world experience."

What has your experience been like so far?

"Unbelievable, I have had the best of times."

What are some of your favorite memories at Catholic?

"My favorite memories have been making lifelong friends, getting a great education, being a member of the Men's Golf Team."

What have been your favorite classes?

"My favorite classes have been:

  • ACCT 430 - Forensic Accounting
  • Business Analytics"

What is your favorite thing to do in Washington, D.C.?

"My favorite thing to do in D.C. is to discover different and unique restaurants."

What advice do you have for prospective students?

"Be yourself, and have fun!"
