Dominic Decker, CatholicU '23, is a Management student from Marlton, NJ. He accepted a job as a B-Launch Sales Associate at Bloomberg Industry Group.

Briefly describe your new job opportunity.

"I will be a Sales Associate qualifying and generating leads to schedule first appointments with relationship partners."

How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?

"The Sales Program allowed me to recognize and develop my sales skills. Professor Weber's class allowed me to practice skills I will need in the workforce as well as grow the confidence needed to be a sales representative. The Busch School also helped me develop business knowledge as well as necessary communication skills to succeed.

What activities were you involved in during undergrad?

"I have been member of Program Board since freshman year and now serve as President. I was also a Senator for the Class of 2023 for 2 years, and I was an Orientation Advisor for 3 years. I am also a member of the University Honors Program."

What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?

"Many of my highlights deal the with campus community. It is hard to narrow it down to one specific event. I have made incredible friends and relationships with people that have made a huge impact on my life. One of my all time favorite memories is winning the Program Board Election and being surrounded by and celebrating with my closest friends."

What advice do you have for students during their job search? 

"My greatest advice is to reach out to the Busch School Faculty. I have had many conversations with professors and staff to help guide me in the right decision. They were all incredibly helpful and guided me in the right direction."
