Briefly describe your new job opportunity.
"I'll be working with current clients' needs by executing account changes and trades in order to maintain effective portfolios. Additionally, I'll be preparing for the Series 63 Exam, Series 7 Exam, and other certifications and I will be furthering education with the goal of becoming a financial advisor."
How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?
"I discerned which business area I wanted to work in through the various background courses at the Busch School, along with all the different Finance courses I took, such as Advanced Corporate Finance and the Cardinal Fund. Additionally, help with career guidance from faculty like Professor Piemonte and Dean Kim aided me significantly along the way."
What activities were you involved in during undergrad?
"I was a Cardinal Fund Manager, Student Mentor, Busch School Ambassador, a member of DSAC, Habitat for Humanity, Intramural Refereeing, Residence Life, and intramural sports."
What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?
"My highlights were getting involved in the Busch School in many different ways, exploring the city, and taking part in intramural sports."
What advice do you have for students during their job search?
"Make sure to reach out to connections you may have, both to find a job and to just learn about different fields you may be interested in. Someone who I reached out to on Linkedin put me into contact with the recruiter who got me my job!"
