Luke Fahy, CatholicU '23, is a Finance and Human Resource Management student from Spring Lake, NJ. He accepted a job as an Enterprise Risk GPS Consultant at Ernst & Young (EY).
Briefly describe your new job opportunity.
"I will helping solve complex challenges for federal, state and local governments and education institutions. Through the enablement of technology and the use of data, we help government agencies with transformation and modernization initiatives to better serve the public."
How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?
"The Busch School hosted EY for a campus recruiting event."
What activities were you involved in during undergrad?
"I was Director of Operations for The Finance Club, I was on the Track and Field team, and I was a Dufour student worker."
What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?
"Some of my highlights were living on the fourth floor of Flather my freshman year, playing a college sport and forming lifelong bonds, working for the DIA full time while also being a full-time student, and participating in a Police vs DPS charity basketball game on campus."
What advice do you have for students during their job search?
"Be persistent and never give up. Continue to build your network and make connections. Learn how to cope with and bounce back from rejection/failure."
