Maeve McCarthy, CatholicU '23, is a Marketing and Sales student from Fort Washington, PA. She accepted a job as a Sales Development Representative at ZoomInfo.

Briefly describe your new job opportunity.

"As a Sales Development Representative, I will be initiating contact and building relationships with prospects and educating them on how ZoomInfo's product can be an impactful resource for their business."

How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?

"Joining Catholic University's Sales Program gave me the opportunity to connect with companies like ZoomInfo and see opportunities for my career I would never have had otherwise. Not every school offers sales classes, so I'm grateful to attend a school that enlightened me to this career path!"

What activities were you involved in during undergrad?

"I am a member of the Varsity Field Hockey Team and the Sales Program."

What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?

"This past fall, my field hockey team won the Landmark Conference Championship for the first time since 2015, which was definitely a highlight. Additionally, I spent a semester abroad in London, which was an amazing opportunity for personal growth, thanks to the CUAbroad program."

What advice do you have for students during their job search? 

"Practice your interview skills. Never show up unprepared, and don't forget to make sure the company is a good fit for you, too!"
