Gary Gigot began his career in the advertising industry, and was VP of Marketing at Microsoft, then Chief Marketing Officer of Visio.  Gary has also held numerous consultative and board positions at Optimum Energy, Sesame Communications and DocuSign. He was also an investor and board member of Aprimo, a leading marketing management software company. 

Eventually, Gigot’s career led to the management of his family investment portfolio under the Elk Ridge Trust brand, with diversification into just under 50 funds, across growth equity investments, real estate, and early-stage venture capital. 

Gigot holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame and a MA in advertising from Michigan State University. He also funded the Gigot Center for Entrepreneurship and helped found the Irish Angels, a Chicago-based angel investing group of  250 members.

Gary resides with his wife Tammy in both Jackson Hole, WY and The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, CA.
