Retired Managing Partner, Calfee

Graduate of Georgetown School of Foreign Service 1981 and Georgetown Law Center 1984.  Practiced corporate law at Calfee, Halter & Griswold, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio from 1984 to 2021.  Areas of focus included mergers and acquisitions, private equity, fund formation, family business counseling and transactions as well as real estate.  Opened Calfee’s  Washington, DC office in January 2017.

Involved in federal, state and local republican politics including serving on the 2016 RNC Host Committee for the convention in Cleveland,  Ohio and US Senator Rob Portman’s 2010 and 2016 campaigns as well numerous state and local campaigns. 

Served as a board member or corporate secretary to a variety of start-up and mature companies and an investor in a variety of private companies. Trustee of a trust which owns an operating (family) business in Cleveland, Ohio. Resident of Park City, Utah.
