What is the mission of the club you lead?
The mission of the club is to introduce marketing to students who are either debating whether to major in marketing, or to give current marketing majors more exposure to what marketing is.
How does this club add to the Busch School experience?
It adds to the Busch School experience by giving students, both marketing and other business majors, the chance to dive deeper into an area of their interest while also interacting and networking with fellow classmates.
What is your previous leadership experience?
Outside of this club, I also work for the Office of Events and Conference Services at Catholic University. In addition to being an operations assistant, I am also the student bonding lead coordinator, as well as a member of the tech team which involves teaching other students tech skills and setting equipment for special events. In the past, I have also held the position of social media manager for a student-led voting initiative.
Why did you decide to take a leadership role in this club?
I decided to take a leadership role in this club because I wanted to take a more involved part in the club that was related to my major. My passion for marketing stems from my passion for creativity as well as brainstorming, art, and design.
What is your favorite part about being a leader?
My favorite part about being a leader is that I get to share the passion that I have for different subjects with others, hopefully inspiring them or helping them to realize their own passion.
